I truly didn't expect to be enjoying this film so far, and it's not over yet! Possessing the lush visual splendour and decay of a decadent era, coupled with cinematic treading along a delish dose of with intimate romance lingering - this looks to be quite a fun watch on the big screen methinks! #prideandprejudiceandzombies #ppzmovie #PPZ
#PPZ #ppzmovie - Nothing "ground breaking" in terms of zombie depiction (although I did like the treatment of "zombie-lite" aka early evolution of zombies before the current crop of future apocalypse zombies - saying any more and I'll be spoiling it :p), but then againi that is not necessarily the emphasis of this guilty-pleasure fuelled lite-horror slash-flick of mixed genres - nubile young ladies trained in the Shaolin martial arts for killing zombies? HERE-HERE! - which surprisingly provides a semblance of "comfort" viewing, with a tinge of Victorian era romance hahaha - would I see a sequel of this? YES, please! #prideandprejudiceandzombies - This snap is of the opening credits sequence, which tells the zombie apocalypse story using paper cut-out styled imagery, perhaps reminiscent of roadside entertainers of the era - real fun!
