"Monday" is my (self-given) "day-off" in a week (in Singapore time anyways), but it'll be interesting to see how many folks'll tune in on a "Sunday" (timezone is a "thing"), cheers.

FILM: "Gremlins" (1984)
SYNOPSIS: "A young man inadvertently breaks three important rules concerning his new pet and unleashes a horde of malevolently mischievous monsters on a small town." (IMDb / Watch on Amazon)

Directed by Joe Dante, written by Chris Columbus. Stars Zach Galligan and Phoebe Cates. Gotta love the "THREE RULES", because you know any movie is sure to breaker all MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

BUY ON AMAZON:

FILM: "Gremlins 2: The New Batch" (1990)
SYNOPSIS: "The Gremlins are back, and this time, they've taken control of a New York City media mogul's high-tech skyscraper." (IMDb / Watch on Amazon)

Joe Dante returns to direct, written by Charles S. Haas with Zach and Phoebe returning as well. At least they are creating more "uglier" evil Gremlins and not more cuddly ones to make as "toys"...? LOL

BUY ON AMAZON:

FILM: "The Dark Knight" (2008)
SYNOPSIS: "The Dark Knight reunites Christian Bale with director Christopher Nolan and takes Batman across the world in his quest to fight a growing criminal threat known as The Joker." (Watch on Amazon)

Directed by Christopher Nolan, written by Jonathan Nolan (screenplay), Christopher Nolan (screenplay) and David S. Goyer(story). Stars Christian Bale, (the late) Heath Ledger, Aaron Eckhart, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman and Maggie Gyllenhaal (who replaces Katie Homes in "Batman Begins") as "Rachel".

BUY ON AMAZON:

Assorted Hot Toys' JOKER listings (for your reference):

FILM: "(The) Outrage" (2010)
SYNOPSIS: "The boss of a major crime syndicate orders his lieutenant to bring a rogue gang of drug traffickers in line, a job that gets passed on to his long-suffering subordinate." (IMDb / M18)

Written, directed by and stars Takeshi Kitano. The sequels to this film include "Beyond Outrage" (2012) and "Outrage Coda" (2017). I've actually watched both, and would recommend the first film. One and Done works fine, cheers. Enjoyed the ever omni-present "cutting finger"-scene for all yakuza films tho :p

BUY ON AMAZON:

FILM: "Moulin Rouge" (2001)
SYNOPSIS: "A poor Bohemian poet in 1890s Paris falls for a beautiful courtesan and nightclub star whom a jealous duke covets." (IMDb / Watch on Amazon)

Written and directed by Baz Luhrmann, Co-written by Craig Pearce. Stars Nicole Kidman, Ewan McGregor and John Leguizamo. Featured below are spoiler scenes, with utterly gorgeous and generous designs, luxuriously camp and decadent ... I am so in love with Moulin Rouge...

FILM: "Romeo & Juliet" (1996)
SYNOPSIS: "Shakespeare's famous play is updated to the hip modern suburb of Verona still retaining its original dialogue." (IMDb / Watch on Amazon)

Directed by Baz Luhrmann, screenplay by Luhrmann and Craig Pearce. Stars Leonardo DiCaprio (who was 21 years old at the time), Claire Danes (17 years old) and John Leguizamo.
