The Line-Up for "KUNG FU PARTY" Series 2 by VTSS Toys Revealed!
VTSS Toys has released an image of their second series of KUNG FU PARTY - their appropriated adaptation of Stephen Chow's 2004 Hong Kong-Chinese martial arts gangster comedy "Kung Fu Hustle" movie characters into vinyl toys (See Series One) - featuring a selection of characters that tug at my toy-desires!
Featuring the trio of "hidden" kung fu masters living in Pig Sty Alley; "Donut" The baker (who specializes in the Eight Trigram Staff), the "Tailor" (who specializes in the art of Hung Ga Iron Fist technique), and the kung fu specialist of Tán Tuǐ Twelve Kicks technique of the Tam School; "Coolie" - seen here with a ~*SPOILER*~ decapitated head (which is both macabre and sends a tear to my eye) ... and their killer, the "Harpists" round off Series 2!
No further product details are mentioned besides this 3D render of the characters, and I'll leave you folks with a film clip of their EPIC battle that one night in Pig Sty Alley, which to me is one of the more imaginative battle scenes in modern Chinese martial arts films, IMHO!
ASIDE: The effeminate tailor really needs to have his iron rings ON him tho! And The Harpists need their "guzheng" accessory!
