Official Synopsis for Marvel's WANDAVISION on Disney+

With the release of the Marvel x Disney+ Super Bowl Spot, the OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS for WANDAVISION has dropped!

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS: "Marvel Studios’ WandaVision blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems. The new series is directed by Matt Shakman; Jac Schaeffer is head writer. Debuts on Disney+ this year." (Source: superherohype.com)


The series takes place after Avengers: Endgame, which we never really had a chance to see Wanda's reaction to The Vision's death in Avengers: Infinity War.

"WandaVision" will consist of six episodes, and will tie into the "Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness" feature film (as will "Loki"). Release is expected to be in 2020 (Source).



The "surbarbia-sitcom" visuals we've been shown in said TV-Spot is very "Americana", and would somehow be what the fictional east-european(?) / "Sokovia"(?)-born fictional character perceive the United States to be, as seen in popular media ... and I am intrigued to discover more of Wanda's evolution! And hoping The Vision is not a Max Headroom-gimmick lol
