WARRIOR NUN Premieres July on Netflix

Wow. I would have not expected or thought that an independent comicbook series from the 90s would FINALLY make its way to the screen ... Yes, I am old enough to have actually lived thru that era (and even own the carded action figure, thanks)!

"Warrior Nun Areala" is a manga-style American comic book character created by Ben Dunn and published by Antarctic Press (which Ben Dunn also co-founded in 1984), with Vol. 1 #1 hitting the racks in December 1994. "Sister Shannon Masters" now gives way to "Ava", in a Netflix series scheduled to premiere (10 episodes win Season 1) on Netflix on July 2, 2020. Rated "M-18", so this'll be a fun fighting to watch between heaven and hell!
