Honest Trailers Does "Starship Troopers", and admittedly I was one of the legion who didn't quite caught on the intent of the 1997 film, thinking back then this was a "ill conceived thinly veiled blatant propaganda project" to justify "war", which has left me feeling embarrassed at my shallowness, and as well appreciative of what director Paul Verhoeven was trying to do, which not so ironically in this day and age of socials and media highway, the explanation of the film's intent would've been absolutely shoved down our cyber-throats already LOL

Never did partaken of subsequent "equals" too tho ...

I can imagine the promos for this film NOW: including faux-recruitment promos and ads, viral websites to test your resolve to enlist and gauge your capability (all the while storing your personal information, of course), and maybe even a "counter-army" underground movement too = "Arachnid-sympathizers"! ... "Insectoids have feelings too!" ... PICK A SIDE (Sounds uber-familiar, no doubt utilised by other film-promos of course ... leave a comment in this post to help jog my memory, thanks!)
