THE SCHOOL NURSE FILES (Premieres Sept 25 on Netflix)

"A new world never seen before! The jelly world of the strange and beautiful Eun-young opens! Wielding a light-up sword through the dark corners of a high school, a nurse with an unusual gift protects students from monsters only she can see." - goes the show description, for the upcoming THE SCHOOL NURSE FILES, premiering all 6 x episodes on September 25th on Netflix. The synopsis on asianwiki.com sheds more insight on the shenanigans (I personally enjoy :p):

"Ahn Eun-Young (Jung Yu-Mi) is a new nurse teacher at school. She has a special ability to see jelly like monsters that are made from residue of human desire and she can also eradicate these jellies. She uses a toy knife and a BB gun to take out the jellies. She senses that a mysterious event takes place at her school

Hong In-Pyo (Nam Joo-Hyuk) is a Chinese language teacher at the same school. Hong In-Pyo has a special energy. In order to protect the students, An Eun-Young and Hong In-Pyo work together to eradicate these jellies."

I am getting mixed vibes watching the above trailer tho ... on one hand the premise reminds me of a Japanese fantasy project, or a overtly eager Chinese media project without the budget for props ... but I'm soft for the female lead, so I'll beg to differ :p

"The School Nurse Files" (Korean: 보건교사 안은영; RR: Bogeongyosa Aneunyeong; lit. School Nurse Ahn Eun-young) is a South Korean television series based on the 2015 award-winning novel "School Nurse Ahn Eun-young" by Chung Serang.

It stars Jung Yu-mi (2016's "Train to Busan", 2019's "Kim Ji-young: Born 1982") as "Ahn Eun-young" - a school nurse who can see "Jellies" (invisible blobs of greed)... while Nam Joo-hyuk is "Hong In-pyo" - a classical Chinese teacher who accidentally opens a safe containing creatures.
