RECORD OF YOUTH Kdrama on Netflix

"Two actors and a makeup artist fight to make their own way in a world that weighs the backgrounds they were born into more than their dreams. Taking place in Hannam-dong, the drama gives hope and a sense of accomplishment by following the journey of the two characters becoming top actors and how they are influenced by their parental background in achieving their dreams."

Directed by Ahn Gil-Ho (2018's "Memories of the Alhambra", 2017's "Stranger", 2015's "Mrs. Cop"), and written by Ha Myung-Hee ("Temperature of Love", 2016's "Doctors"), the series stars Park Bo-Gum, Byeon Woo-Seok, and Park So-Dam ("Ki-Jung" from Bong Joon-Ho's 2019 "Parasite"). As of this post, I've only watched the first episode, and can only imagine the emotional ride I have to withstand, before I can see any semblance of "personal" victory for anyone involved LOL

"Record of Youth" premiered September 7th in South Korean on tvN, and as well streams on Netflix. Airing two episodes twice a week (on Mondays and Tuesday), season one consists of 16 episodes total, with a scheduled end date on "October 27, 2020".
