"Kingdom: Ashin of the North" - Teaser Trailer & Teaser Posters

I was reminded of "Kingdom: Ashin of the North" over the weekend, and thought to look for any updates beyond the sole teaser and non-descript Date Announcement promo ... and discovered a series of 5 x Teaser posters (via asianwiki.com), which I am reproducing here...! Looks like "Valentine" (name of Zombie Tiger in ARMY OF THE DEAD) is not alone in it's existence! ... Then today, the Official Teaser was released...! AND a new poster (seen up top)!



Based on the webcomic “Burning Hell Shinui Nara” by Kim Eun-Hee (writer) & Yang Kyung-Il (illustrator) (first published July 23, 2015 by RHK), "Kingdom: Ashin of the North" ("Kingdom: Ashinjeon") reveals the origin of the resurrection plant (which induces the "zombies" in KINGDOM), and the mystery behind Ashin’s identity - played by Gianna Jun.

From the poster images, we'll be seeing "Ashin" as a kid, before she grows up to be the Ashin we famously last saw introduced at the end of "Kingdom Season 2", with which this drama is labelled as a "sidequel".



The Netflix landing page has this listed as a "1hour 32minuter" special, with the premise being; "Tragedy, betrayal and a mysterious discovery fuel a woman's vengeance for the loss of her tribe and family in this special episode of "Kingdom.""

"Kingdom: Ashin of the North" premieres July 23rd, on Netflix.
