SYNOPSIS: A woman with a rage disorder uses a special electrode device to shock herself anytime she feels the urge to act out her murderous fantasies. Unable to find love in a world that fears her unique condition, she finally falls for a man who accepts her for who she is, only to find him murdered the next day. Enraged, she goes on a revenge-filled mission to find the killer, while also being hunted down by the police as the prime suspect.



Directed by Tanya Wexler, and starring Kate Beckinsale, Stanley Tucci, Jai Courtney, and David Bradley, "JOLT" premieres July 23 on Amazon Prime, and in Singapore cinemas on 23rd July, 2021.

You know when folks aspired for high-brow cinematic experience? Nah, not too keen to hold my nose yup in the air like that, and I am so down to be entertained - not "blind" action tho, my expectations are not THAT low ... but gimme "Kate Beckinsale"? With shades of "John Wick" colors and action, "Deadpool" devilmaycare attitude? Not to mention another one-syllable-named movie starring Jason Statham: "CRANK" = CAN, LAH!
