NON-PLAYERS ASSEMBLLLLLLLLE! "Free Guy" starring Ryan Reynolds now in theaters...



According to Wikipedia, "Free Guy" is scheduled to be released on digital on September 28, 2021 (45 days after its theatrical release), as well as on 4K, DVD, and Blu-ray on October 12, by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment (two months after its theatrical release)... so until then, here's "Fantasy" featuring Jodie Comer;



From an "original-IP" (and by that I meant "Free Guy"), to jumping aboard the REMAKE-train continues with "Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City" feature film! ign.com reports this upcoming film (written and directed by Johannes Roberts) "is based on the first two Resident Evil games. The movie chronicles how Raccoon City went from being a city of industry to a dying Midwestern town that’s become ground zero for the t-Virus outbreak."



Above: New stills released featuring "Leon S. Kennedy" (played by Avan Jogia), "Claire Redfield" (Kaya Scodelario), "Jill Valentine" (Hannah John-Kamen), "Albert Wesker" (Tom Hopper from "The Umbrella Academy"), and more on ign.com... and Milla Jovovich's "Alice" is nowhere in sight, as this remake will be a focus on the GAMES, rather than any connection to the prior film franchise. I reckon "REBOOT" is the game, or mayhaps "REIMAGINING"? Too much labels lah... Will wait for the moving visual trailer to judge, cheers :p

SQUIRREL! ... with "DUG DAYS" featuring a new collection of shorts of everyday events that occur in and around Dug’s backyard. Written and directed by Academy Award® nominee and Emmy® Award winner Bob Peterson and produced by Kim Collins, the shorts premiere exclusively on Disney+ in Fall 2021.

And while it is expected to have the character "Shang-Chi" (from Marvel Studios’ "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings") adapted into 1/6th-scale, featuring the likeness of actor Simu Liu (above), what is likely more excitable is the reveal of Shang-Chi’s father "Wenwu", featuring the likeness of Hong Kong actor Tony Leung. Let that sink in a little bit more ... Now we'll have a sculpt of Tony Leung to own! Time to check in with your retailer contacts...!

Featured above is a five & a half-minuter music video for "ONLY" by South Korean soloist "이하이 (LeeHi)" (Listen online here), which essentially is a short film ab out "love thru time", starring Lee Je-Hoon (@leejehoon_official / most recently seen ion Netflix's "MOVE TO HEAVEN") and Won Jin-A (@j0i3n2a9).
