FILM: "Tears of the Sun" (2003)
SYNOPSIS: "After a West African president's family is assassinated and civil unrest is rampant, a top secret team is deployed to the far reaches of the jungle to rescue a U.S. doctor who is acting as a missionary. She insists the U.S. forces rescue all of her charges. As a result, the group falls under rebel attacks ..." (Watch on Amazon)

Directed by Antoine Fuqua, stars Bruce Willis and Monica Bellucci. Written by Alex Lasker and Patrick Cirillo.

I love the film's opening scenes, where they state the in-country situation the team will be facing, and the mission objectives that we know the team's gonna have trouble keeping.

The following scene (as all videos in the post are) is A SPOILER for your watching experience, but is an example of how the battle scenes are shown, shouting commands amidst chaos, the desperateness in staying alive, while giving a slightly non-combatant POV, showcasing the destruction we could only witness but do nothing besides holding our breathes, IMHO.

Watching clips of this film, I remembered how entertained my watches are, and recommend this film for folks who enjoy this genre, cheers. The sheer spectacle pushes it to a "Must Watch", for me. That airplane scene out the fear in me, especially when there was NO PLACE to run away from...! Thanks chaotic-AF hand-held camera!

Just read this on Wikipedia; "The Wachowskis stated that their script was completely rewritten by Brian Helgeland, and that they tried to remove their names from the film but failed.". LOL

There's way too many clips to share that might spoil your watch experience, but I'll share a couple of scenes to give you an "idea" what to expect.
