Marvel Studios at D23 EXPO 2022




A line-up of show reveals and celebrities graced the stage for Marvel Studios at the annual "D23 EXPO" held over the weekend, the featured here is a quick look at moving visuals and images announced and revealed (not in any particular order):



ABOVE: Official Trailer for "Marvel Studios’ Secret Invasion" since scheduled to stream on Disney+ somewhen in 2023.

The IMDb-page lists this as a "6-episoder", starring Samuel L. Jackson as "Nick Fury", Cobie Smulders returning as "Maria Hill", Martin Freeman as "Everett K. Ross" (from "The Black Panther" movie), Ben Mendelsohn as "Talos" the Skull, and introducing Emilia Clarke into the Marvel fold (role unknown). Cast screengrab below, cheers.





ABOVE: Official Trailer for "Marvel Studios’ Special Presentation: Werewolf By Night" since scheduled to stream October 7 only on Disney+.

IMDb lists Director Michael Giacchino working on a story by Heather Quinn, and stars Gael García Bernal, Laura Donnelly and Harriet Sansom Harris (cast screen grabbed below), and this synopsis for the "1 hour long TV movie": "It follows a lycanthrope superhero who fights crime using the abilities given to him by a curse brought on by his bloodline."

Actor Don Cheadle will return as James "Rhodey" Rhodes, AKA "WAR MACHINE", in Marvel Studios' Armor Wars, for which the Disney+ series' logo was revealed .

WandaVision director Matt Shakman will return to the MCU to helm Marvel Studios' "FANTASTIC FOUR"! And that image of the "cast" seen on screen (including Henry Cavill as "Dr Doom") that has been circulating on the www? It's FAKE.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: NEW WORLD ORDER will see Anthony Mackie return as "Sam Wilson",with return casts Carl Lumbly (as "Isaiah Bradley") and Danny Ramirez (as "Joaquin Torres"). They will be fined by Tim Blake Nelson as "Dr. Samuel Sterns", reprising his role from 2008’s The Incredible Hulk. As for "Bucky", well... I reckon he might be a bit busy with "Thunderbolts"...!

A trailer was shown for LOKI SEASON 2, and adds a a new cast member Ke Huy Quan ("Everything Everywhere All At Once"), appearing alongside Tom Hiddleston as "Loki", Owen Wilson as "Agent Mobius", and Sophia Di Martino as "Sylvie". No mention of "Alligator Loki" tho...

New footage for Marvel Studios' IRONHEART was shown, and has added Anthony Ramos as Parker Robbins, aka "The Hood".

DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN will consist of 18 episodes and stars Charlie Cox as "Matt Murdock/Daredevil" and Vincent D'Onofrio as "Wilson Fisk/Kingpin", reprising their roles from the Netflix series.

Marvel has been very prolific at being their own "hype-man", since deciding to control their own narrative and summary of their events (at San Diego Comic Con etc), with featuring both celebrities and fans (who they call "Marvel Superfans"):
