BALLERINA K-Movie On Netflix

"Grieving the loss of a best friend she couldn’t protect, ex-bodyguard Ok-ju sets out to fulfill her dear friend’s last wish: sweet, sweet revenge." (BALLERINA streaming now on Netflix)

The (South) Korean-"Revenge"-trope has its own charms, and it is most times fueled by emotions and despair, but not outright gore and wilding as say, "Western" media, IMHO. I attribute that to the usage of tools and means to attain revenge, somewhat similar to their "serial murder"-tropes, where there is the use of sharp blades or blunt force trauma to exact the crime, and very little opportunity to do so with fire-arms, which seems more readily accessible on the other side of the world, fictionalised or reality.
