DESCRIPTION: In this new supernatural series set in The Sandman universe, two teenagers find each other in death… and they will do anything to stick together – including escaping evil witches, Hell and Death herself. With the help of a clairvoyant named Crystal (Kassius Nelson), they must work together to crack some of the mortal realm’s most mystifying paranormal cases.

Deadline.com reports that DC drama Dead Boy Detectives was "originally ordered to series at HBO Max," with this 8-part series based off characters created by writer Neil Gaiman and artists Matt Wagner and Malcolm Jones III in The Sandman #25, published under the Vertigo imprint (Wiki). "Dead Boy Detectives #1" was released in December 27, 2022, written by Pornsak Pichetshote, featuring interior art by Jeff Stokely, with colors by Miquel Muerto (info). The characters were much younger in the comicbook source tho .. but then again, as ghosts, perhaps "age" is irrelevant? LOL
