SWEET HOME 2 (스위트홈 시즌2) Premieres Dec 1st



TAGLINE: In December 2020, Green Home was overrun with monsters. Three years later, it's the entire world. The epic return of postapocalyptic monster action.

With a new "Date Announcement" trailer (watch below), we see the continuation of Season 1, where at the end (SPOILER) actor Song Kang's character was captured, and now brought to "civilisation", where he is no doubt poked and prodded, to better understand the creatures, that now will devour the city...!

Based on webcomic "Sweet Home” by Kim Kan-Bi & Hwang Young-Chan (first published October 12, 2017 via Naver Webtoon Corp.), "Sweet Home 2" (스위트홈 시즌2) streams December 1st, only on Netflix. Episode count TBD.



Since my last feature in 2022, announcing the returning cast Song Kang, Lee Jin Wook, Lee Si Young, Go Min Si, Park Gyu Young, along with new cast announced Yu Oh Seong, Oh Jung Se, Kim Mu Yeol, and Jin young. It was also mentioned then that "Sweet Home" Season 2 & 3 were "in production", so there's something to sink your teeth into...!



Honestly, when Sweet Home first came out, I was none too interested to watch it, and when I did, it was after cutting thru the hype (which normally turns me off) and curiosity got the better of me ... and I enjoyed it! Sure, I might have whined on about the CG way more than I pretended to know what I was talking about, but the kdrama stay with me since, in that I'd literally have held myself back from rewatching it again.

That said, Netflix had been a boon, having only just rewatched My Mister, Stanger, and Stranger 2, and in the midst of Hotel DeLuna, maybe it's time now to indulge in Sweet Home, before Season 2 premieres December 1st...?
