COLONY

SYNOPSIS: Professor Se Jeong, attends a biotech conference-only to witness it spiral into catastrophe when a rapidly mutating virus is unleashed. As the outbreak spreads and the infected begin to transform, authorities seal off the entire facility.



"COLONY" is directed by Yeon Sang-ho ("Train to Busan", "Hellbound" on Netflix), and stars Gianna Jun, Koo Kyo-hwan, Ji Chang-wook, Shin Hyun-been, Kim Shin-rock, and Go Soo. In cinemas August 28, 2026.



"Train to Busan" is undoubtably a classic cinema by now (inn my humble cinematic books, thanks), with alas both seasons of "Hellbound" on Netflix a tad "underwhelming" compared with - so I'll not hold my breath (unless it deters zombies, thanks), but remain optimistic to be entertained ... and from these trailer(s), looks like I'll be entertained to the edge off my seat...! LOL
