The Cast of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" in Singapore for Earth Hour 2014

The Cast of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" are scheduled to descend on Singapore for Earth Hour 2014, featuring actors Andrew Garfield ("Peter Parker" / Spider-Man), Emma Stone ("Gwen Stacy"), and Jamie Foxx ("Electro"). They will be joined by the film's director Mark Webb.

"Hot on the heels of the announcement of Spider-Man's global ambassadorship for Earth Hour comes this initiative, as part of a partnership between Sony Pictures and Earth Hour organisers, the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).

The action is slated to centre around Singapore’s hotshot Marina Bay area, which will be plunged into darkness from 8:30pm for an hour on Saturday, 29 March. Spiderman will make an "appearance" before the Hollywood stars countdown to the hour-long blackout at The Float @ Marina Bay." - reports Yahoo!

"In conjunction with Earth Hour, WWF-­Singapore will launch its first photo and film competitions for students in Singapore. Both competitions will ask youths to be superheroes and use their power to drive a positive change for Singapore. (The) Film competition will be judged by Marc Webb, director of The Amazing Spider-­Man 2, with the winning short film being screened at the Singapore premiere of the highly anticipated blockbuster."
