"In a brand new Jumanji adventure, four high school kids discover an old video game console and are drawn into the game's jungle setting, literally becoming the adult avatars they chose. What they discover is that you don't just play Jumanji - you must survive it. To beat the game and return to the real world, they'll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, discover what Alan Parrish left 20 years ago, and change the way they think about themselves - or they'll be stuck in the game forever." “JUMANJI: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE” is a sequel to the 1995 film "Jumanji" (which starred the late Robin Williams), directed by Jake Kasdan (“Bad Teacher”, “Sex Tape”) and written by Chris McKenna, Erik Sommers, Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner. The film stars Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Karen Gillan, and Nick Jonas, and is scheduled to be released on December 22, 2017 in the USA.
And while we’ve been seeing plenty of stills and pics of the muscled Dwayne Johnson and the scantily clad Karen Gillan (i.e. - pics above), this is the first full trailer featuring moving visuals for the film, and it looks fun!
Helps that the sounds of Guns-n-Roses gives it a rad pump (Yes, I am of THAT era :p), and I am liking the concept of the desktop gaming machine being the conduit, ala the board-game of the first film! Plus the role switch makes it even funnier, IMHO.
