Teaser Trailer for KRYPTON on SYFY

WHAT IS “KRYPTON” THE SHOW: "Set two generations before the destruction of the legendary Man of Steel’s home planet, Krypton follows Superman’s grandfather (Cameron Cuffe, The Halcyon) — whose House of El was ostracized and shamed — as he fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos."

And while I cannot remember specifically (now) the scenes were in the first leaked trailer (it was not as impressive at all to remember …), but SYFY has just official released the teaser for “KRYPTON”, during San Diego Comic Con 2017 (July 20–23)!

Based on DC characters, Krypton is executive produced by David S. Goyer (Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, The Dark Knight trilogy). Damian Kindler (Sleepy Hollow) will serve as executive producer and showrunner.

The design here follows that of Zack Snyder's "Man Of Steel" 2013 movie (re: The House of El "insignia" = a "Symbol of Hope", as Superman had mentioned to Lois). This might prove to be “interesting” as they do not necessarily evoke existing “superheroes”, wouldn’t they?

“Krypton” premieres in 2018 on SYFY.
