THOR: RAGNAROK by Hot Toys Revealed at San Diego Comic Con 2017

Revealed at San Diego Comic Con 2017 (July 20–23) are the 1/6th-scale action figure for Marvel’s THOR: RAGNAROK feature film! Featured here include THOR (in two Editions, as a “Road Worn” and “Gladiator” Versions):

Hot Thoys Thor Ragnarok Road Worn Version
Hot Toys HULK Gladiator Version

”He’s a friend from work!” … Ho-Boy… :p

The “Gladiator” Version of HULK is a somewhat “wish” come true - ver since “Hulk Imperfect” days and “World War Hulk” in comicbooks, now the Green Goliath is unleashed in humongous 1/6th-scale! I cannot wait to see the stats on this guy!

Both HULK and THOR sees a slew of “full reveals” in TOYS at this year’s SDCC too!

I will await the feature film before I comment on this tunic colors on LOKI, the Norse God of Bad Fashion, as far as I’m concerned ~ HAH! I don’t know why but he feels strangely like a “Ripley-in-Power-Loader” homage colors…

Hot Toys Thor Ragnarok Valkyrie

Now this is a pretty decent sculpt of actress Tessa Thompson as “Valkyrie”, I have to say. Although I am not hugely convinced about this change from the comicbook character, but will hold out personal geek-judgement until the film goes on screen :)

Hot Toys Thor Ragnarok HELA

Now THIS character figure was a surprise (but it actually should not have been, I know, I know… :p) - featuring “Hela”, The Ruler of Hades, with the likeness of actress Cate Blanchett! The weight of the head-dress alone would be a cause for stability-concerns when time to order her for your toy-shelves, IMHO ~ LOL

"After the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, Thor, held captive on the planet Sakaar without his hammer, must win a gladiatorial duel against an old friend—the Hulk—in order to return to Asgard in time to stop the villainous Hela and the impending Ragnarök, the doom of the Asgardian civilization."
