"Iron Giant" Homage Wood Sculptures from Amanda Visell

In homage to the 1999 animated movie "Iron Giant", Los Angeles based artist Amanda Visell has crafted a quartet of wood sculpts depicting select scenes from the Brad Bird-directed feature, hand-painted them and offered them up online at US$900 per one-of-a-kind pieces.

As of this post, "Forest Walk" and "You Can Fly?" have since been spoken for, while Electric Tower (approx. 8" tall) and Train Tracks (approx. 6.5" tall) are still up for grabs! Scroll down for a closer look at the art pieces, along with clips from the movie = WARNING: POSSIBLE SPOILERS :)

Pretty darn awesome homages done in Visell's unique indie-lowbrow / folkart aesthetics, if you ask me :)
