With the release of the Marvel x Disney+ Super Bowl Spot, the OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS for LOKI has dropped!

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS: "In Marvel Studios’ Loki, the mercurial villain Loki (Tom Hiddleston) resumes his role as the God of Mischief in a new series that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Seen in the TV Spot, Loki exclaimed "I’m going to burn this place to the ground." and I cannot wait to find out WHERE and WHEN! IMDb has since listed a total of 6 episodes for "season 1", with a "2021" premiere date.

"Loki" will tie into the "Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness" feature film (as will "WandaVision")

According to Hiddleston, this Loki hasn’t yet become the sympathetic figure in Thor: Ragnarok; he’s still the narcissist and bad guy we met in 2012’s The Avengers. "There’s a lot of psychological evolution that is still yet to happen," actor Tom Hiddleston said (ew.com).

He is NOT the "evolved" Loki who has since embraced his brother and Asgard, and sacrificed himself at the hands of Thanos in "Avengers: Infinity War") ... he will be the conniving trouble-maker from much earlier celluloid incarnations, fresh off his appearance in the first Avengers movie, even before Thor: The Darkworld, as seen in Avengers: Endgame, when he uses The Tesseract to escape!
