WHO IS HELSTROM?

Above-left: Marvel Spotlight #13 (Jan. 1974). Cover art by John Romita Sr.
IN THE BEGINNING: "Daimon Hellstrom, also known as the Son of Satan and Hellstorm, is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.

Created by Roy Thomas (writer) and Gary Friedrich (artist), Hellstorm" first appeared in "Ghost Rider" issue #1 (Sept. 1973)."
(Wiki).

Compared the televisions series adaptation (scroll to the bottom), the character from the comicbook source is so much more ... "complicated" ... which you can read so much more here direct from Marvel.com, but the below final para might SPOIL the comic books for you...

"...Satan has been shown to be made up of aspects of Asmodeus, Lucifer, Mephisto, Satannish, Thog, and others, indicating that the Hell-lords merged their energies to father a true "Son of Satan." Reliable sources have named Beelzeboul, Kurios, Lucifer, and Mephisto as Daimon's father, further supporting this conclusion."

"HELSTROM" IN TELEVISION: "Daimon and Ana Helstrom are the son and daughter of a mysterious and powerful serial killer in "Marvel’s Helstrom." The siblings have a complicated dynamic as they track down the worst of humanity—each with their attitude and skills. "Marvel’s Helstrom" is executive produced by Paul Zbyszewski, who will serve as showrunner and Marvel Television’s Jeph Loeb." (marvel.com).
