And while I've featured my watch of HIGH SCORE (Ep4-6) and am prepping a overall review post for this 6 episode documentary on Netflix, I would like to have the opportunity here to HIGHLY RECOMMEND this series - be it for curiosities' sake or to treat your inner-retro-geekdom - it is one of the better series I've had the chance to watch this year, bar none. I have been trying to figure out WHY the August 30/2020 Edition of Top Ten Blogposts on POPCORNX is on this week's Top Ten List... and I think I'll attribute it to the featured teaser trailer for South Korean animated horror flick "Beauty Water"...! Alas without English subtitles tho :p

We first saw "Mang-tae, The Nightmare Catcher" in Episode 7 of beloved KDrama "It’s Okay to Not Be Okay", and the hand-made doll completed the quartet, as seen in the "camping trip" montage in Episode 16 / the finale, hanging from the rear view mirror of the camping van, "protecting" them from nightmares... Well played, director Park Shin-woo, well played indeed... :)

It is without a doubt the premiere of SEASON 2 of THE BOYS helped fuel both Meet "Black Noir" and Meet "Starlight" feature into the Top Two Spots, and have continued to for sometime already ...! Alas I didn't love the first 3 episodes, but can look forward to more "diabolical mayhem" to come, now? I wonder WHO'LL win in a fight tho ... STARLIGHT or BLACK NOIR?

And while Season One dropped all 8-eps in a binge-able single go, Season Two will continue with weekly airings from Episode 4 onwards...
