WHAT-IS: ""Idol: The Coup" is a 12-episode drama about a failing K-pop girl group called Cotton Candy. The band has just months left on its contract and must face the reality that its dreams may never come to fruition. The girls in "Cotton Candy" feature KPOP girl group members, including Ahn Hee-Yeon ("Hani" of EXID), EXY (of WJSN), Green (of Redsquare) and Ahn Sol-Bin (of Laboum). Actress Han So-Eun rounds off the fictional gg... and judging from the assorted trailers/teasers/clips seen here today, it's not all sunshine and rainbows...!
