The character "Peacemaker" (played by John Cena) gets into a brutal fight with "Rick Flag" (played by Joel Kinnaman) in "The Suicide Squad", when he attempts to expose "the truth" of the "Starro Project" with the rescued hard-drive (Peacemaker had been tasked by Amanda Waller with a side-mission to prevent said truth from being exposed). Peacemaker ultimately kills Rick Flag (and Peacemaker was in turned shot by Bloodsport, but survived).
His killing of Rick Flag had never been truly addressed in all promos released thus far for the "PEACEMAKER" streaming TV series, until now...
PEACMAKER consists of 8 epsidoes. The first THREE Episodes'll stream January 13 on HBO Max, followed by a weekly boradcast schedule.
