SYNOPSIS: "A large monster attacks Japan, but dies suddenly. While the people rejoice and bask in relief, the giant corpse left behind begins to slowly rot and bloat. If it explodes, the nation will be destroyed."

"What To Do with the Dead Kaiju?" ("大怪獣のあとしまつ" / Daikaijū no Atoshimatsu = "Giant Monster Cleanup") is an upcoming kaiju film produced by the "DAIKAIJU" Film Partners. Written and directed by Satoshi Miki, this feature stars Ryôsuke Yamada, Tao Tsuchiyan and Gaku Hamada ( / Credits via IMDb). I wonder ifd thius'll be a "comedy"? Or a straight-up "actioneer"? Or "comedy-actioneer"? LOL

Trailers have been released, in anticipation of the film's premiere in Japanese theaters by Toei and Shochiku on February 4, 2022.
