HOUSE OF NINJAS Official Clips & My Spoiler Impressions of Ep.1



"House of Ninjas" is currently streaming all 8 episodes on Netflix, and featured today here are a couple of "official clips", and my quick SPOILERY-impressions of my watch of Episode One!



The first clip (above) is of a scene from the past, showing the confrontation between the Tawara family — descendants of legendary ninja Hattori Hanzo — and the insidious Fuma clan ... After a mortal struggle, the Tawaras thought they had defeated Fuma leader Kotaro, but a disturbing shadow appears behind the eldest Tawara son, Gaku... On this day, the story of "House of Ninjas" begins to unfold. ... "I'll meet you again at the Demon Gate."



SPOILERS BEGIN: I am charmed by the immersion of shinobi into modern day, with the government aware of their existence, which are to be kept secret to the general public, punishable by "death".

The Taware family appeals to the everyman, methinks, each with their own quirks ... 2nd son has lingering guilt, daughter thieves part-time, dad's sake factory is failing (yes, they have day-jobs), while mum's a feisty klepto feeling bored, and grandma thinks being "normal" is funny ... less than 4 minutes in Ep.1, shinobi-skills are already being used for the more mundane slice in work-life, and I like it! Looking forward to devour the rest of the series! END SPOILERS



Meanwhile the following clip showcases Haru (Kento Kaku) protecting Karen (Riho Yoshioka) from a mysterious clown, which essentially was what tipped me over to wanting to watch the series ... both clips shown here from Episode One, cheers.
