𝙆𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝘿𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝 tells a story about a bitter and lonely orphan, "Addison", who gets thrown into a deathly series of games with 𝘿𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝 when she uses him to get her perfect boyfriend back… When a kiss throws you into a supernatural realm... can Addison survive 𝘿𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝’s games?
Featuring a ensemble cast, including Cheryl Chou (as Addison/Ida), Sue Tan (as Popo), Xuan Ong (as Minnie) and Aimee Cheng-Bradshaw (as Bella). Alexander Yue is Addison's Ex "Caleb", while "War/Wilhelm" is played by Aaron Mossadeg, and Indonesia-based Leo Consul is "Death/Damien".
Writers Sue Yin Goh, Vanessa Vanderstraaten and Amelia Tan adapted the "Kisses From Death" Wattpad story by Singaporean author, Aurora Yeo (Insta @twelvewonderingstars), the online incarnation for which has since garnered 1.4 million readership globally. This live-action adaptation consists of 8 episodes, each lasting between 22-minutes to 25-minutes.
This series is helmed by directors Sam Loh (lead) and Dharfianto, with the primary Director of Photography being Clement You, with Alan Ang.
From Viddsee Studios, Executive Producer Kenny Tan worked with Supervising Producers Willy Yong and Gloria Wong, with Creative Producer Nicolette Lin. Emma Neubronner (from August Pictures) is Series Producer, whom I credit for excavating me from my self-isolation (18 years since my last long form drama_, to complete this series as the Art Director (for which I continually Art Features on #andsyhengart), cheers.

EPISODE SYNOPSIS: It's Addison's birthday and her best friend Minnie is throwing her a party at an old chalet bungalow that she has rented for the night. Desperate for Addison to get over her ex-boyfriend, Caleb, Minnie invites a hot but mysterious man named Damien to Addison's party. Meanwhile, Popo is trying hard to keep Addison safe within her sights, fearing an ominous reading that Addison received from a fortune-teller when she was a baby. At the party, Addison is jilted when Caleb makes it clear that he wants nothing more than to be friends with her. She kisses Damien to make Caleb jealous. Unknown to Addison, Damien is Death in human form, and Death has been waiting for Addison to slip up so he can exact his decades-long revenge plan.

EPISODE SYNOPSIS: After trapping Addison and everyone she loves into his realm, Death lays the rules of the realm to them. In the remaining 5 hours till the end of Addison's birthday, they have to play a series of 5 games or risk death. When Addison, Bella, Caleb, Minnie and Popo realise that there is no other way out of this eerie house, they begrudgingly play the first game - pass the parcel. A gift-wrapped parcel is passed around the circle of friends to an old tune. The game carries on smoothly and Addison even picks a fight with Bella during the game. Finally, the unwrapped parcel lands on Addison. Afraid of what may happen, she hands the parcel to Minnie, who gets killed by a dagger to her jugular upono receiving the parcel.

EPISODE SYNOPSIS: The group reel from Minnie's death. Death takes delight in seeing Addison grieve the death of her best friend. He taunts Addison for being selfish and unchanging from when she was Ida in their past lives, but Addison does not remember. The next game begins: treasure hunt. Led by magical orbs containing riddles that serve as clues, the group runs around the house looking for the next clue. Deadly traps await them as they scurry around the house. Caleb splits from the group when he disagrees with Popo's direction. Popo lands on a sticky situation when a pressure plate in the kitchen that threatens to blow the place up and kill them all.

EPISODE SYNOPSIS: Bella saves Popo and Addison when she succeeds in disarming the explosive. As Addison, Bella and Popo continue the treasure hunt to look for the remaining orbs, Caleb rejoins them. Bella notices something amiss with Caleb. Unknown to everyone, Death has kidnapped Caleb and has impersonated him in order to spoil Addison's chances of winning the games. The next clue leads the group to the garden where they start digging mounds of dirt. Bella almost reaches the final orb when rotted vines reach from under the earth to grab and swallow her. Addison saves Bella, to Death's surprise. Death observes Addison in the final sprint to hunt down the last orb. Upon winning the treasure hunt, Addison chooses to let Bella return home to the mortal realm. Bella warns Addison about Caleb. Death notices that Addison isn't as selfish as Ida was.
