ROAD HOUSE (2024) on Prime Video

SYNOPSIS: In this adrenaline-fueled reimagining of the 80s cult classic, ex-UFC fighter Dalton (Jake Gyllenhaal) takes a job as a bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse, only to discover that this paradise is not all it seems.

I have not watched the original 1989 film (starred the late Patrick Swayze), and have no specific expectations nor impressions for this "reimagining", as much as I have seen comparisons online for, and am pretty game to seek out the film, now turned streaming feature. The clips turned me, with Jake's charm and none too serious a scripted delivery, and perhaps the hype surrounding Netflix's "Physical 100 Season 2: Underground" is still fresh in my mind, and I am game to seek out bodily harm on fellow men, "fictionally" or "reality" LOL
