Did you watch SQUID GAME back when it premiered on Netflix win 2021? I remembered resisting watching the KDRAMA (not to be mistaken for being a "reality TV show") when the hype went on over-drive, until curiosity got the better of me, and I binged the entirety of the series in a single go, understanding the allure and hype by then.

Three years on, I recognise the effect on the global landscape, but personally it dod not resonate as much within me than what I've been reading about. And I have come to accept that I will rewatch entire series, if I enjoy what my watch experience, with examples being HOTEL DE LUNA (watch 3 times), STRANGERS 1 & 2 (2 times each), TAXI DRIVER (twice)... that said, I had been invested enough to be intrigued by how the filmmakers'll continue this lore, and will be tuning in the day after Christmas LOL

As we await the "December 26" 2024 premiere on Netflix (Rated "M-18"), offline promotions have begun, with "The Recruiter" (played by Gong Yu in Season 1 and upcoming S2) spotted in Seoul and Busan, recruiting folks to partake in the Squid Game, mirroring the fictional world in our "real world"... Are you ready to play the game?
