The Film & Pop Culture Art of Matt Ferguson: A Retrospective Exhibition @ The Gallery (Sept 17 - Oct 31, 2018)
"THE FILM AND POP CULTURE ART OF MATT FERGUSON" is a retrospective exhibition showcasing over 85 posters and pieces of art illustrated by UK-based Graphic Designer and Artist Matt Ferguson - some of whom are featured in this post!
You might recognise them from releases for Bottleneck Gallery (have you check out his current Star Wars Trilogy on bottleneckgallery.com yet?), and VICE Press (for which Matt is also the Co-Owner/Creative Director for).
Also featured at the exhibition include Rare, sold out posters and also some new surprises, as well as a Charity auction, and you can also expect an exclusive limited edition Exhibition Catalogue on sale at the Grand Opening, of which the first 100 people get a gift bag version.
Taking place between 17th of September- 31st of October 2018 at The Gallery At 164. Duke Street, Leeds LS9 8AG, UK. The Grand Opening will be on Friday 21st September from 6pm-9pm. This will be when all items will first be available for sale.
This exhibition is a part of Thought Bubble Festival.
ARTIST BIO: "Matt Ferguson is a Graphic Designer and Artist from Sheffield in the UK. Matt is best known for working with Marvel Studios designing artwork for the Marvel’s Avengers Blu-Ray collection and many promotional posters. He also regularly exhibits at galleries in the US including Bottleneck Gallery and is well known in the industry for his beautifully stylised creations for established Film and TV properties."
