PLAYMOBIL: The Movie Trailer & Costume In Singapore
“Halloween” might be over, but ... would folks choose to dress up as a “Playmobil” now that the animated movie is coming out? The above pic was spotted-n-snapped in “Toys R Us” Tampines Mall (Should've just coped the set and kept the "head" as a "display" :p), while featured below is the trailer for the new PLAYMOBIL MOVIE, because why let “Lego” have ALL the childhood-toy-made-celluloid-fun, yeah?
SYNOPSIS: "When her younger brother Charlie (Gabriel Bateman) unexpectedly disappears into the magical, animated universe of PLAYMOBIL®, unprepared Marla (Anya Taylor-Joy) must go on a quest of a lifetime to bring him home. As she sets off on a fantastic journey across stunning new worlds, Marla teams up with some unlikely and heroic new friends - the smooth-talking food truck driver Del (Jim Gaffigan), the dashing and charismatic secret agent Rex Dasher (Daniel Radcliffe), a wholehearted misfit robot, an extravagant fairy-godmother (Meghan Trainor) and many more. Through their vibrant adventure, Marla and Charlie realize that no matter how life plays out, you can achieve anything when you believe in yourself!"

WHAT-IS: "PLAYMOBIL: THE MOVIE takes audiences on an epic comedy adventure through a sprawling imaginative universe in the first-ever feature film inspired by the beloved, award-winning PLAYMOBIL® role-play toys. Packed with humour and excitement the film combines endearing and hilarious characters, thrilling adventure and breathtaking scenery in this originally animated heart-warming tale. Featuring the voices of Anya- Taylor Joy, Jim Gaffigan, Gabriel Bateman, Adam Lambert, Kenan Thompson, Meghan Trainor and Daniel Radcliffe."

Folks online have been comparing this to being in-between The LEGO Movie and Emoji Movie, which is hilarious ... nevertheless, IMDb lists a "7 August 2019" premier in France. Go check out THIS album of snaps featuring a Playmobil-dedicated toy store here in Singapore, for your possible year-end festive gifting considerations ... (I'll take the Ghostbusters set please, thank you MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA).
