Midseason Trailer for "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" (Returns April 1st, 2019)
DC's Legends of Tomorrow returns with all-new episodes on Monday, April 1 at 8 p.m. (7 p.m. CST) on The CW. The "sizzle reel" featured above has left me in total stitches, especially since they've been left out of the recent "Elseworlds" CW-Crossover event (2018), and I am appreciating them making fun of themselves (*As the show very often does, something more people should know about and celebrate, IMHO) ... and who could resist seeing the "classic" version of Justice League's "Hall of Justice" on air again?
The episode titled "Lucha de Apuestas" (promo featured above) is the "upcoming ninth and midseason premier episode of the fourth season of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, and the sixtieth episode overall" (So sayeth arrow.fandom.com).
STORYLINE: "When the Legends hear that Mona has let a fugitive go, they must head to 1961 Mexico City to clean up her mess. Mona tries to convince the Legends and the Bureau that the people responsible for releasing the fugitive were some mysterious Men in Black and not her. With no evidence to back up her theory, the Legends must decide if they should trust her and go against the Bureau. Meanwhile, Nate and Zari go on a recon mission to find out what Hank might be hiding from everyone." (Written by sarah_l91 via IMDb)And will DC Collectibles make a series of Lucha-themed action figures (like they did "DC ¡LUCHA EXPLOSIVA"?) after the Legends' turn in the ring? Or is this yet another self-parody the show is known for? LOL
I've featured tons of Legends on #ILIKETEEVEE, and will continue to do so HERE on POPCORNX from this post forth!
