Red Band Trailer for #Stuber / Hello #IkoUwais

SYNOPSIS: "When a mild-mannered Uber driver named Stu (Kumail Nanjiani) picks up a passenger (Dave Bautista) who turns out to be a cop hot on the trail of a brutal killer, he's thrust into a harrowing ordeal where he desperately tries to hold onto his wits, his life and his five-star rating. Directed by Michael Dowse, this action-comedy from 20th Century Fox also stars Iko Uwais, Natalie Morales, Betty Gilpin, Jimmy Tatro, Mira Sorvino and Karen Gillan. In U.S. Theaters July 12, 2019."

And while I'd previously seen (and enjoyed) the trailer, it wasn't necessarily the "genre" of films I'd feature on this blog ... but the reason today is; "Iko Uwais" - whom I did not see in previous trailer(s).

Been a while since seeing this Indonesia action star in Gareth Evans' "The Raid" and "The Raid 2", and more recently in "Mile 22" (I've yet to catch "Triple Threat " tho), and it busts my balls to see him be the token "exotic villain", but happy at the same time to see him get work in Hollywoodland.
