34 years after the first film, the sequel "TOP GUN: MAVERICK" will return to cinema screens in 2020, with this first trailer released during San Diego Comic-Con-week, featuring the return of Tom Cruise as "Pete "Maverick" Mitchell" in his cheeky-best.

He was 24 years old when he was in the 1984 film, if the math is current, he'll be 58 by the time he soars through the clouds in his F-18.
