DOCTOR STRANGE AND THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS from Marvel Studios Announced at #SDCC2019
Introduced at the MARVEL Comic-Con Panel in Hall H at the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con as part of Marvel's "Phase 4" projects, was "Doctor Strange 2" AKA "DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS" (IMDb), which has a schedule premiere on May 7th, 2021.
- Both Director Scott Derrickson and actor Benedict Cumberbatch were introduced on stage. They reprise their roles from the first DOCTOR STRANGE film in 2016.
- Marvel is going for a "horror"-angle ("twist of horror" as mentioned) in this film.
- Attempts to "destroy" Dr Strange in the film.
- Elizabeth Olsen as "Scarlet Witch" will appear in the film.
- The events of "WandaVision" will reflect into this film.
