Penny Dreadful: City of Angels on SHOWTIME

I'd realised that I have not raved as much of 2016's "Penny Dreadful" at all here on POPCORNX, than I had on my now inactive ILIKETEEVEE fan-blog, but perhaps it is as fitting to start anew with a brand new incarnation of "Penny Dreadful" - which has since moved from a period Victoria-era England, to 1938 Los Angeles! And while we've seen a teaser poster (featured below) and some stills, released today is the first trailer, which showcases the glorious yesterdays of a country I've only known/seen thru media ...

"A spiritual descendant of the original Penny Dreadful story set in Victorian-era London, Penny Dreadful: City of Angels opens in 1938 Los Angeles, a time and place deeply infused with social and political tension.
