Introducing Mang-tae, The Nightmare Catcher (in "It’s Okay to Not Be Okay" Ep7)

SPOILERS AHEAD:

In the above sequence - in Episode 7 of Kdrama It’s Okay to Not Be Okay - "Moon Gang-tae" (played by Kim Soo-hyun) got himself drunk and meets "Ko Mun-young" (played by Seo Yea-ji) at home, sleeping on the steps and wakes her up ... what happens after the above sequence, is Gang-tae gifting Moon-young with "Mang-tae"; "The Nightmare Catcher", which was hand-sewn by Gang-tae for his brother "Sang-tae", and I have screen grabs below to show .. and wonder of a hand-made doll like this would catch on in popularity with the viewers? And of multiple bootlegged versions would appear on pegged displays in markets anywhen soon?

This scene happened after the beginning of this episode (seen at the end of Ep6), when Gang-tae witnessed for himself Mun-young's nightmares and how devastating it was for her, and with this gift, hoped to physiologically alleviate her, as it used to do for his brother ... but what happened afterward, is Sang-tae recognising the doll, and wants it back for himself, and both Sang-tae and Moon-young fought over the doll!

The bloodied aftermath of the fight (in Ep8), also led to more heartwarming realisations, IMHO. It would also be interesting to see if Mang-tae would appear in Mun-young's stories later on in the series, and how Gang-tae would illustrate him ... IF he gets mentioned in a story, of course ... :)
