Anna Akana on Jupiter's Legacy (& That's About All My Review On The Since Cancelled Series Will Be About, Thanks)

I've kept a folder of screengrabs for "JUPITER'S LEGACY", with the intention to review the Netflix series ... but realise the main joy for me, was seeing Anna Akana as "Raikou" in this live-action adaptation of a graphic novel by Mark Millar and Frank Quitely, which has since been canceled after Season 1.

If you like me, am a fan of Anna, and want to ONLY see her on screen, just check out Episodes 7 and 8 - which of course (select) video clips are posted below - otherwise, feel free to skip this 8-episoder, and move on to other superhero dramas, which might not heap so much "family drama" on you, as much as this did.

Anna Akana as Raikou, "Brainwave" (played by Ben Daniels) AKA Walter Sampson's daughter, a vigilante/assassin possessing super strength and telepathy, who also uses ningato.



Funnily, this was popped into my subconsciousness because I was writing a review of Marvel Studios' BLACK WIDOW where "family" was a theme in the feature film , but in a more heartwarming sentimental notion, than rah-rah-motto (ala "F9") or this slice of "family-guilt" heavy clouds lingering over every confrontation force-fed to us.
