Death’s Game (이재, 곧 죽습니다) KDRAMA Premieres Dec 15th



SYNOPSIS: Death's Game tells the story of Choi Yi-jae (Seo In-guk) who, being on the verge of falling into hell, experiences death and reincarnation 12 times due to the judgment of Death (Park So-dam).

I love me a premise of a "revengeful death by reincarnation", plus a laundry list of guest appearances - one watch of the trailer tells you you are in for a fkn ride, regardless how the story'll work out! #DeathsGame premieres 15 December on Amazon Prime and on TVING, with new episodes every Friday, with season 1 consisting of 8 episodes.




"Death's Game" ("이재, 곧 죽습니다") is based on webcomic "Yije Got Jookseummida” written by Lee Won-Sik & illustrated by Ggoolchan (published April 18, 2019 - July 16, 2020 via Naver). And while it understandably might be wholly different from my immediate memory of, but 2015's "Death Parade" anime [popped into mind, actually...! I was actually thinking of rewatching that recently too... hhhmmm




Interestingly the premise on imdb.com gives it a slightly different favour: "Facing hardships and contemplating suicide after a series of setbacks, a man is confronted by Death and tasked with experiencing death over and over again through 13 other lives to earn the chance to live."
