First Look at "KPOP: DEMON HUNTERS" Animation Coming to Netflix



Is it just me? Or does this remind you of "K/DA"?

"The film follows a world-renowned K-Pop girl group as they balance their lives in the spotlight with their secret identities as demon hunters."



A quick glimpse was presented in the "Netflix Animation Preview for 2024 & Beyond" for "K-Pop: Demon Hunters" = a upcoming animated musical comedy film produced by Sony Pictures Animation. Directed by Maggie Kang ("The story homages co-director Maggie Kang's Korean roots and her die-hard love of K-Pop" sonypicturesanimation.fandom.com) / and Chris Applehans and written by Hannah McMechan and Danya Jimenez, with Aron Warner serving as producer. Scheduled to be released in 2025.




And if the name "K/DA" stumps you, moo worries as I've a few previous features to share, including overall origins of, OFFICIAL CONCEPT VIDEO FOR "I'LL SHOW YOU" and OFFICIAL CONCEPT VIDEO FOR "VILLAIN", and off course I tied it back to "TOYS" with "K/DA VS ART TOYS (VOL.1)" on TOYSREVIL. At the end of the day, regardless gf "who-came4-first", I am looking forward to see or hear how they sound!

"K/DA" is then name of a virtual music supergroup created by RIOT (Makers of Leagues of Legends) and consists of virtual members Ahri, Evelynn, Akali, and Kai’Sa - with Vocals performed by: Madison Beer, SOYEON of (G)I-DLE, MIYEON of (G)I-DLE Lexie Liu, Jaira Burns."
