The scene above still brings tears to my eyes, I will not lie ... truly a classic upon classic, that has stood the test of time, at least for me, having only JUST rewatched this on Netflix, non too long ago, after wearing out my DVD ...

24 years since the death of Maximus Decimus Meridius in 2000's "GLADIATOR", the sequel is now finally upon us, which follows "Lucius", the son of Maximus's love Lucilla (notice they changed the cast seen in the trailer), after Maximus's death.



From director Ridley Scott, "GLADIATOR 2" stars Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal, Denzel Washington, Connie Nielsen, Joseph Quinn, and Fred Hechinger. Premieres November 22nd.
