“THOR: RAGNAROK” - Trailer & Poster Released at San Diego Comic Con 2017

A New Official Trailer for MARVEL’s THOR: RAGNAROK had been unleashed circa San Diego Comic Con 2017 and we see TONS of fabulous new footage of Odinson actually being a bit “thick in the head” now (well, being moreso that he had been before, truth be told). HULK / Bruce Banner having a bro-chat with Thor on a War World in our space (“Odd Couple” for the new millennium), Valkyrie changing tunics and riding a winged horse (THAT needed to happen, and I don’t need the steel/chrome brassiere too, fhanks!), AND Loki joins “Team Thor”!

What got my attention was Karl Urban as “Skurge The Executioner” (I only JUST re-watched DREDD on DVD the day before, and LOVED IT ~ haha). And there’s “Surtur”; that flaming giant horned demon (whom was revealed in a Pop!Vinyl toy, which I’ve been remiss in posting about too! “Oops?”)



Now THIS is waiting for an episode of “Bad Lip Reading”, innit? LOL

PREMISE: "After the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, and four years after the events of Thor: The Dark World, Thor, held captive on the planet Sakaar without his hammer, must win a gladiatorial duel against an old friend—the Hulk—in order to return to Asgard in time to stop the villainous Hela and the impending Ragnarök, the doom of the Asgardian civilization"

“Interesting” the direction that Director Taika Waititi (and the script) is taking THOR: RAGNAROK forward in the franchise - with this being the third (and “final”?) film from Marvel - since turned into a “road movie”, across the universes and space, no less, where Thor is the Dumb-Jock hick-version of “Maximus Decimus Meridius” (Dude might not be the “Sharpest Tool” in the shed, but he’s the "Thickest Pounder” innit? HAH), picking up and forming a rag-tag team (but Ye Gawds do I HEART “rag tag teams”) along the way to rescue this Norse-God-ish realm, AND find Dad in New York City?

This might well fit perfectly into the world of television’s “American Gods” on STARZ, innit? Aaaahhhh, so THAT’s where “Dad” is…! :p
