STORY: "Thousands of years after civilization was destroyed by a cataclysmic event, humankind has adapted and a new way of living has evolved. Gigantic moving cities now roam the Earth, ruthlessly preying upon smaller traction towns. Tom Natsworthy (Robert Sheehan)—who hails from a Lower Tier of the great traction city of London—finds himself fighting for his own survival after he encounters the dangerous fugitive Hester Shaw (Hera Hilmar). Two opposites, whose paths should never have crossed, forge an unlikely alliance that is destined to change the course of the future."
"Mad Max" with Entire Cities travelling ON FRIKKIN' WHEELS in this post-apocalyptic steampunk world, and the teaser trailer expands upon the above concept art/image (first revealed online a while back), into a deafening visual splendour worth waiting for? Who needs "pirate ships" now that "London" is grabbing at smaller cities? LOL
MORTAL ENGINES is scheduled for a December 14th, 2018 premier in the USA, with no Singapore dates listed as yet on IMDb, which I sure a heck NEED it come come to our big screens here! Even looking at the trailer on my desktop, it feels like "toy sets" moving around (which I LOVE), and I would adore to see it on the silver screens!
