Guillermo del Toro & Scott Cooper on Antlers (Filmmaking at Comic-Con@Home 2020)

"In ANTLERS, a small-town Oregon teacher (Keri Russell) and her brother (Jesse Plemons), the local sheriff, discover that a young student (Jeremy T. Thomas) is harboring a dangerous secret with frightening consequences."

As a sheltered male in Singapore, my impressions of the "Wendigo" was from his appearance in Marvel's "ALPHA FLIGHT" comic books (notably featuring art by John Byrne actually) ... so it is somewhat interesting to find out MORE of the folklore, even if via horro-styled monster films which I normally do not partaketh of, but you mention "Guillermo del Toro", and I'll do a blog-feature :p

Acclaimed director Scott Cooper (Crazy Heart, Hostiles) and horror maestro Guillermo del Toro ("The Shape of Water", who produces this film) tease their upcoming Searchlight Pictures movie Antlers along with how they designed the Wendigo-inspired monster. In addition, the two go in-depth on the craft of filmmaking and how they create a visual style. Moderated by Collider's editor-in-chief Steven Weintraub.
