LOVECRAFT COUNTRY on HBO: Official Trailer & Teaser
"A young African-American travels across the U.S.
in the 1950s in search of his missing father." (IMDb)
The Official Trailer for "LOVECRAFT COUNTRY" since released, in anticipation of the television series scheduled to premiere August 16th on HBO.
And while the IMDb-show description seemed as mundane, the trailer however showcases more lurking in the shadows within the silhouettes of the forest, innit? Much yummier than the teaser video released a month ago (scroll to the bottom of this blogpost to view), featuring more monsters, and I like it!
WHAT-IS: Lovecraft Country is an upcoming American drama horror television series developed by Misha Green based on 2016 novel of the same name by Matt Ruff, which explores "the conjunction between the horror fiction of H. P. Lovecraft and racism in the United States during the era of Jim Crow laws, as experienced by black science-fiction fan Atticus Turner and his family." (Wiki).
#LovecraftCountry TV series features 10 episodes. I'll be keeping an eye out for this, innit?
