I've never really bothered much with "Christmas Holiday Specials", mist times at the very least looking forward to the TOYS or action figures that'll be inevitably follow to continue milking the cash-cow... and when "The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special" was mentioned, I had imagined Drax with a Santa's hat ... and that turned out to be true, innit?

...then when the trailer for the "Special Presentation" introduced "Kevin Bacon" into the mix, that's when I knew this special's gonna be "different"...!



Ok, you'd need to watch the first "Guardians of the Galaxy" feature film to understand the meaning, cheers.

And now that James Gunn has been announced to be helming DCEU as co-chair and co-CEO of DC Studios, alongside Peter Safran (reporting to David Zaslav), his involvement with Marvel Studio's might be a rare instance, after "Guardians of the Galaxy 3", perhaps?
