PopcornX’s Films Viewed in 2016 & Ten Choice Film Picks for 2016!
And while I’ve shared PopcornX’s Top Ten Films To Look Forward to in 2017 in a previous post, I’d like to take a look back at the movies of 2016 .. and unlike previous years’ Top 10 Films of 2015, I felt I could not offer a 2016 “Top Ten”, simply because I’d felt I’ve not watched ALL that “needed” to be watched, including Laika’s KUBO AND THE TWO STRINGS, THE ARRIVAL, loal film THE APPRENTICE, and even SING STREET (knowing my personal propensity for 80’s tunes :p), so it would be fair to myself too haha … so instead, I will offer you what I have watched in the year of 2016 … ALL the films I have watched!
An eclectic watch list, that does not include dodgy bootleg camera-filmed-in-cinema situations, thanks! A mixture of swell fun to be had and some duds (not what you might expect), and some flicks where literally I could not continue further to finish the film, and a few I could not believe I stuck with watching to the end credits hahaha
Out of this collection, I will offer my Ten Choice Film Picks for 2016 instead of a “Top Ten”, in no particular order:

Now that THAT’s sorted, here’s a quick guide to what my impressions are of the films watched - and i am being extremely “generous” to most too hahahaha;
And I’ll add one more to the list, watched a couple days back: DreamWorks Animation’s TROLLS - which I found absolutely entertaining and fun! Also, becoz “Anna Kendrick” … *cough* … Ending 2016 with a music video of Justin Timberlake's "CAN'T STOP THE FEELING! (featuring the cast of DreamWorks Animation's Trolls);
